My first introduction to yoga was at the National Maternity Hospital (or ‘Holles Street’ as it’s so fondly known) during my second pregnancy.
The techniques that I learned during my prenatal yoga classes there had a profound impact on my labour and so began my story with yoga…. And in particular my interest in pregnancy yoga and supporting expectant mothers.
Now a mum of two teenage boys, I have been practicing yoga for 15 years. (Where does the time go….)
I first met Susan and Amy practicing at Init Yoga -in the ‘Before Mandala Yoga days’ before leaving to live in Singapore with my family for a few years. It was in Singapore in 2019 that I completed my 200 hour teacher training followed by a 100 hour advanced Hatha Yoga training with the S Vyasa University, India.
After moving back to Dublin in 2022, it’s been great to reconnect with all the Mandala students. I am thrilled to be part of the teaching team sharing yoga and wellness in the workplace and with mums-to-be.
